Tiers
The same block and the same terms, with more senior time as the work needs it.
Every tier is a 150 hour block with no advance and payment after acceptance. The difference in price reflects one thing: how much senior and mid level time works inside the block.
Quick answer
What is the difference between Prime, Plus and Pro?
All three use the same 150 hour block and the same terms. Prime (USD 2 an hour) suits well defined work, Plus (USD 5) adds a senior engineer who sets direction, and Pro (USD 10) has a senior engineer leading delivery.

Well defined work, built by trained engineers and reviewed by a senior.

Who does the work
The experience behind each role.
The same at every tier. Every junior engineer on your project is a graduate of the Code Colonies on the job training programme, run under AksharAI, trained on real delivery standards before working on client projects.
| Role | Experience | In the block |
|---|---|---|
| Junior developer | 1 to 3 years | Feature development under defined senior direction |
| Mid level developer | 3 to 6 years | Owns modules and builds the more complex features |
| Senior engineer | 6 years and more | Architecture, code review, technical leadership, critical work |
| QA engineer | 2 to 5 years | Test planning, functional and regression testing |
| Project manager | 4 years and more | Planning, stand ups, reporting, delivery coordination |

Questions
About the tiers.
Can we change tier between blocks?
Yes. You choose the tier for each new block. Many projects begin on Plus while the architecture is being set, then move to Prime once the work becomes well defined execution.
Why are Plus and Pro priced in USD only?
Plus and Pro are published in USD. INR pricing for those tiers is available on request. Prime is published in both: INR 199 or USD 2 an hour.
Is the AI tool budget the same at every tier?
Yes, USD 50 per block at every tier. It covers AI coding assistants, AI powered testing and API usage for AI assisted delivery on your project.
We want a named senior inside our team full time. Which tier is that?
None of them. That is Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE), a Code Colonies engagement model scoped separately from 2good blocks.
