Pay after acceptance
The financial risk stays with us until you have accepted the work.
No advance. A signed Statement of Work that says what done means. A build you can watch. Your own test against the specification. Only then an invoice.

Quick answer
What does pay after acceptance mean?
The deliverables and a testable definition of done are signed before work starts. You test each increment against it, accept what meets it, and the invoice follows. Work that does not meet the specification is put right first.
Five stages
We talk, we scope, we build, you accept, we carry on.
Step 1 · Free
We talk
You tell us what you need. We tell you plainly whether it fits, roughly how many hours it would take and which tier suits it. There is no charge for this conversation.
Step 2 · Signed Statement of Work
We scope
We agree the deliverables and a definition of done you can test, and both sides sign a Statement of Work. That document is what the work is later accepted against.
Step 3 · Increments you can see
We build
The team builds in small increments to documented standards. A senior reviews each output before it reaches testing, and you see progress as it happens.
Step 4 · Then you pay
You accept
You test the delivered work against the specification. If it meets it, you accept and the invoice follows. If it does not, it is not accepted and it is put right.
Step 5 · Next block, if you want one
We carry on
Most work runs past one block. You decide on the next one after seeing the last, and you can change tier between blocks.
Acceptance, in practice
Each item is tested against what was signed.
The specification lists acceptance criteria for every increment. QA checks them first. Then you test them, on your devices and with your data where that is possible. If one item misses its criterion, that increment is put right and tested again before it is accepted.
Your agreement sets the review window, the payment terms after acceptance and how hours spent putting work right are treated.

What you own and what you see
Clear ownership and clear reporting, written into every engagement.
- Ownership
Your code and your IP
All source code, documentation and intellectual property created for you belong to you on acceptance and payment. This is written into the Statement of Work.
- Handover
Documentation with every block
You receive the code, the technical documentation and a delivery note for each block, so nothing lives only in one person's head and your own team can pick it up.
- Reporting
Regular reporting
Progress updates, sync calls and a clear view of hours and deliverables against the agreed scope, through the whole block.

Questions
About payment and acceptance.
What does 2good.dev cost?
INR 199 or USD 2 an hour at the Prime tier, with a minimum of 150 hours. Plus is USD 5 an hour and Pro is USD 10 an hour, with INR on request. Every block also carries a USD 50 AI tool budget. Taxes are extra as applicable, including GST for Indian clients.
What is the smallest engagement?
One block of 150 hours. At Prime that is INR 29,850 or USD 300 before tax, plus the USD 50 AI tool budget.
How can the rate be this low?
AI now does much of the routine coding, much of the building is done by engineers trained in the Code Colonies on the job programme with a senior checking each stage, and we price close to cost.
Is review, testing and project management extra?
No. Senior technical review, testing and project management are inside every block at no extra charge.
What is the AI tool budget?
USD 50 per block, at every tier. It covers AI coding assistants, AI powered testing and the API usage needed for AI assisted delivery on your project.
Who actually does the work?
A small team in set proportions: junior, mid level and senior engineers, a QA engineer and a project manager. Junior engineers are graduates of the Code Colonies on the job training programme, run under AksharAI.
